Currently, HANZE goes further into impact attribution, quantifying the relative influence of hazard, exposure, and vulnerability on flood losses since 1950. The database includes a multi-source, well-curated historical flood impact dataset for Europe, high-resolution reconstructions of hydrological extremes, catchment alterations, exposure, flood protection levels. Impact attribution for over 1700 European floods, including climate change attribution, is performed.
