Key insights include projections showing the Social Security area population increasing from 342 million in 2024 to 383 million in 2054, with an aging trend driven by faster growth in the population aged 65 or older. Over the next 30 years, population growth is expected to slow, influenced by net immigration. The projection anticipates the noninstitutionalized civilian population to increase from 271 million in 2024 to 310 million in 2054, with the 25 to 54 age group experiencing slower growth. Notable adjustments from prior projections include a larger 2053 population and slightly accelerated growth due to heightened net immigration and decreased fertility rate estimates. The thematic days programming also incorporates four cross-cutting themes that underpin effective, interconnected delivery: Technology & Innovation, Inclusion, Frontline Communities and Finance.","link_original":"https://unfccc.int/cop28","status":2,"country":[{"id":238,"name":"United Arab Emirates","icon":""}],"sections":[{"id":166,"name":"Atmosphere"}],"root_section":{"id":107,"name":"Life-friendly Earth"},"is_photo":false,"is_video":false,"is_large_font":false,"show_in_news_list":false,"url_to_show_in_news_list":"","location_filters":{"countries":[{"id":238,"name":"United Arab Emirates"}],"regions":[{"id":5,"name":"Asia"}]},"filters":[{"id":22,"name":"Events","badge_name":"Event","show_badge":false,"children":[],"all_children":true,"all_children_ids":""}]},{"id":"70b0c789-3770-42fa-a225-d566477cfa34","slug":"cop28-uae-declaration-on-hydrogen-and-derivatives-2023-post","created_at":"2023-12-20T15:01:08.976222Z","views":76,"name":"COP28 UAE Declaration on Hydrogen and Derivatives (2023)","about":"The COP28 UAE Declaration on Hydrogen emphasizes global collaboration to promote sustainable hydrogen technologies for low-carbon energy solutions.","text":"The COP28 UAE Declaration on Hydrogen signifies a global commitment led by the United Arab Emirates to advance sustainable hydrogen technologies and derivatives.
