To examine this, the article presents the largest statistical analysis on multinational corporations in environmental conflicts, using data from the Global Atlas of Environmental Justice covering over 3,300 conflicts and 5,500 companies. Results show companies, mainly from the Global North, are heavily involved in conflicts in the Global South.
