The analysis results have been published in Journal MDPI (series \"Foods\"; Flavia Fayet-Moore & others)", "text": "In recent years, pink salt, particularly Himalayan one, has grown in popularity with increased media attention. It is alleged to be nutritionally superior to white table salt. However, until recently, little has been known about the mineral composition of pink salt. A team of specialists from several Australian institutions has carried out deep researches of the mineral composition of edible pink-orange salt from various suppliers (the Himalayas, Australia, and Peru) sold in Australia. It has been really found that pink salt contains substantially higher levels of useful mineral components such as calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, aluminium, barium, silicon, and sulfur, and lower levels of sodium compared to the white table salt. However, it can also contain an increased amount of arsenic, lead, and cadmium and other non-nutritive components. In general, this salt cannot make any meaningful contribution to nutrient intake due to amount of salt intake", "link_original": "https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7603209/", "status": 2, "country": [ { "id": 14, "name": "Australia", "icon": "" } ], "sections": [ { "id": 40, "name": "Scarcity of mineral resources" } ], "root_section": { "id": 107, "name": "Life-friendly Earth" }, "is_photo": false, "is_video": false, "is_large_font": false, "show_in_news_list": false, "url_to_show_in_news_list": "", "location_filters": { "countries": [ { "id": 14, "name": "Australia" } ], "regions": [] }, "filters": [] }, { "id": "bf576bab-34fd-43d1-ba69-5d858237cf00", "slug": "accenture-decarbonizing-energy-from-a-to-zero-2020-post", "created_at": "2023-06-14T16:43:31.599110Z", "views": 73, "name": "Accenture: Decarbonizing Energy: From A to Zero (2020)", "about": "The Accenture report is a practical guide to decarbonization, that presents the world's first comprehensive study on decarbonization, providing insightful analyses and addressing key questions.", "text": "It explains the need for change and presents achievable milestones by mid-century. The report explores the impact of the transition on oil and gas-dependent sectors. Accenture emphasizes its commitment to supporting oil and gas companies in achieving sustainable long-term growth amid uncertainties. \n\nThree archetypal choices for future oil and gas leaders are outlined: Decarbonization Specialist, Energy Major, and Low Carbon Solutions Leader, each with unique requirements. The report identifies four crucial variables for successful decarbonization: infrastructures, technologies, ecosystems, and emerging markets, regulations, behaviours, and preferences. \n\nAdditionally, the report analyses trends in hydrocarbon extraction, refining, power, and transportation, providing insights for near-term actions.
