Asymmetrical surface subsidence is the most dangerous, and can lead to complicated ecological consequences. This study provides an analysis of ground movement prediction methods to determine the most appropriate approach. A focus research is the investigation of the suitability of salt caverns to assess the impact on the environment, prevent the damage of objects.
